Hi, I'm Rana. I currently work full-time (remotely) as Head of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at a medical device company in the UK.

✱ I was born in the Middle East and grew up between Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the UK. These days, I’m settled in the UK (for now at least).

✱ I serve on the board of a charity, DreamCatchers Worldwide, as Risk and Compliance Trustee, as well as being part of the operations team.

✱ My interests include coding and philosophy.

✱ I’m am a voracious non-fiction reader and will start posting my book notes here. I read fiction too (just to a much lesser extent).

✱ My core values are achievement, contribution, and integrity.

✱ I am a ISTJ personality type in the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) system.
